About Us: SaMSIC is a voluntary, non-profit, and non-political organization of medical students from all fields and years of study across the Republic of Srpska. It is a member of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA). IFMSA was founded in 1951 in London and is one of the largest and oldest student-led organizations, supported by the World Health Organization, the United Nations, the European Union, and many other global organizations. Currently, it consists of 127 member countries with 136 national committees.
The focus of the Committee for International Exchange of Medical Students of the Republic of Srpska is on international medical student exchanges, education, raising public awareness about current health issues, preserving public and reproductive health, and promoting human rights and peace.
Our activities and projects include: Health Sphere, Health Fair, International Exchanges, Pink October, Movember, Grow Up – a project dedicated to promoting vaccination, Mental Health Workshops, Ladybug Hospital, and many more.
