Entrance exam

In order to be accepted to the Study programme of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka the prospective student must pass the Entrance exam. The Entrance exam consists of a written part and an interview/motivation letter.

The written exam includes a biology test (containing 20 questions) and a chemistry test (containing 20 questions). The online Entrance exam includes multiple choice questions. All questions are based on the high school educational programme and the exam is in English.

The prospective student must pass the written tests with a minimum of 15 points. International prospective students perform the online Entrance exam, after receiving specific instructions with a password and a defined time and date for the exam.

The interview/motivation letter can bring additional 10 points to the prospective student. The interview/motivation letter helps the Admission staff view the motivation and potential of the student for the Medicine programme, in addition to their English language skills.

The remaining points are awarded based on the cumulative grade point average (GPA) from the Secondary/High School.

After the Entrance exam, the list of candidates will be published at the Faculty of Medicine website. Once accepted, the student can submit the documents required for the registration at the Office of Student Affairs
