International cooperation

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka is intensively involved in international cooperation with academic institutions and companies abroad. Activities in scientific research and education of graduate and post-graduate students, health professionals and the academic staff are taking place within the international cooperation.

In addition, the international cooperation takes place through bilateral visits of lecturers and researchers to other universities, which results in a significant number of appointed visiting professors who regularly teach and hold consultations to the interested academic staff at the Faculty of Medicine.

In recent years, professors and teaching assistants of the Faculty of Medicine have actively been involved in European academic networks and projects, which has increased the mobility of academic staff, the visibility of the Faculty and the number of scientific publications in international reference journals.
