Entry requirements

The following documents are required from the international students at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka:

  • Online application form, filled out and submitted. See the application form
  • Photocopy of the passport (page with photo and personal data)
  • Scanned transcripts of all years from High School and a High School Diploma, with a notarized translation into Serbian by a certified interpreter. The original documents should be presented upon enrollment.
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of English language for prospective students from countries where English is not the official language in education
  • Proof of payment for the 100 EUR application fee. Please contact the Admission team
    on danijela.lukic@med.unibl.org for the instructions for payment. After the payment,
    please send the SWIFT as confirmation).

Please note that in order to be accepted to the Study programme of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Banja Luka the prospective student must pass the Entrance exam (see  Entrance Exam) and must begin the procedure of the Nostrification of the foreign school diploma (see Nostrification).

International students intending to pursue medicine in their home country must verify their
eligibility to study and practice medicine in their respective home countries. The university does
not assume responsibility for ensuring such eligibility and places the onus on the individual
student to ascertain compliance with their home country’s regulations.

Please note that a student is required to be present on the teritory in Bosnia and Herzegovina and
register in person at the Faculty of Medicine on or before 15 December of each academic year, to
be enrolled as as student for that academic year.
