The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Banja Luka has become part of an important international collaboration with Global Medical Libraries, a U.S.-based organization that supports medical education worldwide.
Thanks to this collaboration – and the kind support of the Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including their office in Banja Luka – our Faculty has received a valuable donation of high-quality medical textbooks and academic resources of the highest global standard.
These books will be available to both students and teaching staff, significantly contributing to the advancement of education, improving the quality of medical training, and keeping pace with current trends in healthcare and medicine.
We extend our special thanks to Ms. Valerie Walker from Global Medical Libraries and Mr. Todd Bullock from the U.S. Embassy office in Banja Luka, whose personal engagement and support were crucial to the realization of this initiative.
We also express our gratitude to Dr. Tarun Handa, Director of Edufacts Global d.o.o. Banja Luka, for his role in facilitating the connection between the American organization and the Faculty of Medicine – a key step in establishing this cooperation.
This is not just a donation of books – it is an investment in knowledge, professionalism, and the future. More knowledge for students means more opportunities for young doctors and better healthcare for our entire society.
On behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, we express our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of the United States, Global Medical Libraries, and the American people for this significant act of support. We are proud of this partnership and believe it marks only the beginning of many new and positive exchanges in the future.
